MY TOP 10 BEST DRESSED AT THE 2011 GOLDEN GLOBES

1. Anne Hathaway- Armani

Favorite of the night. Hard to choose, but it was. He look was refreshing, gorgeous, edgy, fashion forward, and sleek. The detail on this? I can’t even breath. I can say “shut it down,” “I die,” and “Bananas” because my favorite Rachel Zoe styled her and combined all those sayings in one here. HOLY GOOD GOD. her body looks fab and the cut out of the back with the sheer is gorgeous. Young youthful hair balanced it nicely. The exaggerated shoulders and sleeves give me goose-bumps. The Miss Hathaway/ Miss Zoe/ and apparently Mr Armani team should NEVER end!

2. Emma Stone- Calvin Klein

TALL. DRINK. OF. WATER. I LOOOOOOVED Emma Stone in this gown! It’s minimalism and sexiness at it’s best. She knows what works on her and clearly this is it. I was devastated to see she had dyed her signature red locks but I changed my tune once I saw her looking gorgeous at the Critics Choice (in a ridiculously gorgeous Balenciaga) and then again at the Globes. GORGEOUS. Her body is killer.

3. Julianne Moore- Lanvin

YES. YES. YES. I do wish my favorite lady wore my favorite man (Tom Ford) but holy good god is this shocking pink Lanvin gown gorgeous. It’s edgy and fashion forward and perfectly accessorized: just like Julianne Moore always is. I know she will catch flack for it, but who cares. She was refreshing and gorgeous. No shocker at all considering she is Julianne Moore. DIVINE. On a sidenote, I bet she will wear Mr. Ford to the Oscars or SAG’s; I’d be surprised if she didn’t. As Lauren said, she is basically contracted to him with Fashion for the rest of her career— in the best way possible.

4. Milla Jovovich- Armani

Milla ROCKED THE SHIT out of this dress! When she was presenting you could basically see her posing on stage! I was laughing because it was actually really funny. She looks amazing and if a dress makes you unconsciously pose (forget that she is a model and that is pretty much second nature to her), then you know it’s a good dress. She looks divine.

5. Annette Bening- Tom Ford

Again, THIS IS HOW TO DO BLACK. I loooooved this gown on Annette. She oozes sexiness and elegance without trying— which is what Mr. Ford does with everything. She is NOT an older woman in my eyes but she is age appropriate and looks exquisite. That burn out velvet on an 80 degree day needed to be worn and she rocked it. I DO wish she wore the Tom Ford heels that he showcased with this look, but I’ll settle for the simple Jimmy Choo’s; they are still gorgeous.

6. Mandy Moore- Monique Lhuillier

COLOR! MANDY! GORGEOUS! I love Mandy Moore. She is gorgeous and everything works about this look. I think tulle is gorgeous but it is VERY hard sometimes not to looked like a jacked up “Black Swan.” Mandy did it right; everything from the hair to the dress is working here. I love when she is a brunette.

7. Mila Kunis- Vera Wang

UGH, SO good. I love Miss Wang and Miss Kunis and the combination is gorgeous. I love this color green; it isn’t exactly Tom Ford Green which is my favorite shade of green (see Julianne Moore’s YSL Oscar dress she rocked while he was at the house) but it’s close and gorgeous. She looks so classy and sexy here. I can’t even say enough good things about the whole package.

8. Natalie Portman- Viktor & Rolf

Mamma’s looking good! Look at how damn happy she looks! I love it. The color is gorgeous and the large rose is romantic and subtle. I love the draping that goes from her bust to her back. It’s sexy and a nice way to rock a “maternity” dress. Though, I think that even if she wasn’t preggo she’d kill it in this dress. Natalie always picks very interesting designers as well; I am a big Viktor & Rolf fan so it was awesome seeing them on the Red Carpet. I think she could have skipped the necklace but she still looks divine.

9. Megan Fox- Armani

OKAY, I am the first one to be shocked that Miss Fox is on my list. Not that I don’t like her, but sometimes she is too much on the Red Carpet. There is usually something off about her look like hair or jewelry or the fact she can’t stop looking like a cat while posing. BUT, her entire customized Armani look head to toe from hair to gown is perfection. He body is killed and that slit is sexy not slutty. PLEASE MISS FOX KEEP THIS UP! DIVINE!

10. Katey Sagal- Douglas Hannant

WOW. The color. The long sleeves. Her body. All of it. HOLY WHOAH Katey! I am a sucker for a long sleeved gown and this is no acceptation; she looks flawless and I am thrilled she won. I don’t watch the show, but from what I have seen she is killer in it. BRAVO lady!
